If you're a crafter then CraftLocal is here to help you on your way to success.

If, like many crafters, you're wondering about sales and marketing, then don't worry you have come to the right place. Through our research we have found many crafters ask the following questions:-

  • How do I get my name "out there"?

  • Why aren’t people buying my creations?

  • Why arent people visiting my online shop?

  • And how can I sell more?

We don’t know many crafters who started their hobby business because they enjoy selling. We understand that marketing can often be confusing, expensive and sometimes disheartening.

So how does it work?

Using our partner relationships we direct market to a carefully chosen audience with our beautifully designed brochures and e-newsletters. Furthermore we donate a significant amount of our profits to the causes we know are close to our target audience’s hearts. This means there is a huge incentive for them to buy your wonderful makes. You’ll work to order meaning that the pressure and cost to stock a craft stall is a thing of the past.

Will I be in competition with like crafters in my area?

No.  We absolutely ensure you have exclusivity of like products in your locality. We only ever market to households local to you. (In fact we encourage our crafters to share our learnings through our CraftLocal community to help you become even more successful).  Here at CraftlLocal we embody the T.E.A.M. philosophy that Together Everyone Achieves More.

So who are our partners?

These could be schools, clubs, scouts, any community organisation who are looking for an extra source of income.

So how do I find out more?

Firstly, drop us a line in the form below to register for further information and we will check our database to ensure no one else in your area is providing a like product. Once that’s checked we will send further information and if you like what we see then you can sign up and send your photos and product details  Don't worry, we understand that you will have lots of questions, which we are more than happy to answer without obligation.

Im no good at taking product photos, can you help?

We have produced our own CraftLocal Product Photography Guide for our crafting community along with short informative videos to ensure your product is marketed using the best photos.  You will be able to given guidance to ensure that each shot is picture perfect. We'll also help you with your wording to ensure that your products come across in the very best way. All of this marketing support will ensure that you can get a big brand finish to your product marketing which will deliver results.

I have my photos and product description ready, so what next?

We actively market to our partner audiences using an example of the attached leaflet and emails which are dispatched three times per year, Spring, Summer & Christmas. Once a customer has made their decision, they can purchase their chosen item via our online shop; at this point we will notify you with details of the sale.

What about delivery?

We arrange local drop off points meaning that postage costs and items going missing in the post are a thing of the past. We handle all the point of sale issues like card payments and we even supply branded stickers, boxes, tissue papers and bags so your creations are professionally packaged. All this means that you can spend your time on creating your best produce to sell even more!

So what are our fees?

Our charges are designed to be competitive with hosting a craft stall and therefore there is an initial entry fee of £45 for your product which will appear in our direct marketing and our online shop.  Once a customer makes a purchase it will be subjected to a three percent admin charge and  fifteen percent contribution to the partner charity or organisation. (Please note that additional products can feature on our online shop FOC (Free of Charge) but will be subjected to the admin charge and partner organisation contribution upon any sales made.
