If you're a crafter then CraftLocal is here to help you on your way to success.

Tired of Chasing Algorithms?

We Don’t Use Them.

If, like many crafters, you're wondering about sales and marketing or find it time consuming, expensive and simply frustrating working out latest algorithms for online market places (such as one which rhymes with Betsy!) then don't worry you have come to the right place.

Through our research we have found many crafters ask the following questions:-

  • How do I get my name "out there"?

  • Why aren’t people buying my creations?

  • Why aren't people visiting my online shop?

  • And how can I sell more?

We don’t know many crafters who started their hobby business because they enjoy selling. We understand that marketing can often be confusing, costly and sometimes disheartening.

So how does it work?

We incentivise our partners to promote and encourage visits to our online directory (see a sample here) which directly hyperlinks to your online store.  Crucially this means if you have the option of your own website it means you are building value connected to your asset, rather than a platform such as Insta. (In other words you are not building up someone else's online asset). Also, because this is online, you can work to order meaning that the pressure and cost to stock a craft stall is a thing of the past.

Will I be in competition with like crafters outside of my area, or even globally like other online marketplaces?

No.  We ensure all crafters are located within a maximum of a 30 mile radius of where the product will featured, meaning that competing with makers nationally or even internationally with many marketplaces will no longer be any trouble.

So who are our partners?

These could be schools, clubs, scouts, any community organisation who are looking for an extra source of income.

So how do I find out more?

Firstly, drop us a line in the form below to register for further information.  Don't worry, we understand that you will have lots of questions, which we are more than happy to answer without obligation.

I have an online store where customers can view and buy my makes and wish for you to promote it, so what next?

We actively market to our partner audiences using two- three "seasons" per year, Spring, Summer & Christmas when we refresh our website.  Throughout the year we will encourage our partners to promote our landing page which will hyperlink to your online store. Once a customer has made their decision, they can purchase their chosen item via your online shop.

What about delivery?

Delivery can either be made by yourself by post or perhaps in person on set days at the chosen partners venue (with prior agreement) meaning that postage costs and items going missing can be a thing of the past.

So what are our fees?

Our charges are designed to be competitive with hosting a craft stall and therefore there is a maximum fee of £45 per season for your product which will appear in our direct marketing and our online shop.
